Full Professor at the Department of Psychology & Data Science Centre, and the Head of the Psychotherapy Research Lab, University of Haifa.
Prof. Sigal Zilcha-Mano is a worldwide recognized leader in personalized detection and intervention for depression. Her pioneering research leverages the separation of trait-like and state-like processes to achieve precise personalization in mental health treatment. She is a Member of the Israel National Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA).
The Psychotherapy Research Lab consists of over 65 researchers, postdocs, and PhD students. The lab develops clinically validated, AI-driven technologies for personalized mental health. By integrating multimodal data from wearables, smartphones, and clinical assessments, the lab models individual-specific trajectories to enable early detection and scalable digital health solutions.
