Dr. Itai Dattner
Head of Scientific Machine Learning Research Lab
Research areas:
MY research focuses on theoretical and applied aspects of dynamical systems, fostering an interdisciplinary approach through SciML.
My research develops rigorous statistical theory, methodology, algorithms, and
software for drawing reliable conclusions from complex dynamical systems. I work with high-dimensional, longitudinal, multimodal, and unstructured data, including images, video, text, and sensor data. I have developed and applied novel statistical, machine-learning, and AI methods for estimation, testing, model selection, prediction, and decision-making across epidemiology, psychotherapy, agriculture, finance, engineering, and other domains.
